Hello City View Residents! We have new movies in stock for you to enjoy. Stop by the clubhouse to pick up a DVD and some popcorn. Our very own leasing professional, Josh, has written a great review of the movie, The 300. Read on for more detials.

It seems the past few years movie goers have struggled with the lack of huge summer blockbusters. Between comedy flops and poorly written love stories, guys have been begging for an action film that would bring back the luster and glory from a good action flick.

“300” does just that. Since “Troy” and the all time great, “Gladiator”, we have wanted more. Frank Miller (Sin City) has brought to life one of history's greatest untold stories with a whole new feel. A story of 300 Spartan warriors that stood alone against an army in the ranks of over 500,000 men. This is another classic tale of the battle between good and evil. King Leonidas refuses to surrender his land and people to Xerxes, a tyrant who “ fancies himself a God”, and his Persian army. By making this choice he is forced into a war with Xerxes. But when the senate and those in power in Greece are seduced by money and power, Leonidas is denied the use of the Spartan army to repel their inevitable attack. Assembling only 300 of his finest warriors, Leonidas sets out to repel the attack while leaving his wife behind to find the traitor within the senate and convince them to go to war. The Spartans fought fiercely for 3 days before eventually………….Spoiler!!!

The action scenes rock, the cinematography is astounding, and the replay value… Just watch the movie!!
